Peacock Pass, our recently expanded, vintage 1950s cabin, delivers such a unique experience at Lake Dunlap. Despite recent updates, we have worked to maintain the original feel of the cabin that has been in our family for over 40 years. The stunning view, terraced levels, firepit (firewood not provided), outdoor seating, and lakefront are just a few of the neat features. With recent dam failure, the water levels have fallen, but the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful view of the lake still remain! We have installed steps down to the new waterfront to accommodate fishing and other water recreation. This is not an ideal spot to swim until the dam is rebuilt. We are located just a few houses down from the dam which is the deepest remaining part of Lake Dunlap. While traditional on-lake activities such as boating/skiing are not possible at this time, this property still makes a perfect vacation spot!

Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, a charcoal BBQ grill, a washer/dryer, and two living areas to spread out after enjoying everything New Braunfels has to offer. Enjoy the view while sitting on the swing overlooking the lake. When relaxing in the evening, there will be lots of time for horseshoes, cornhole, or s’mores by the fire pit or chimenea. The lighted path to the water with the lightning bugs flying through the air provides such a memorable experience. All living and bedrooms have a 32 in smart TV for relaxing after your busy day! There is one DVD player at Peacock Pass. Feel free to bring your gaming system as well!

Peacock Pass now has central heat and air! Plus, there is an electric fireplace for added ambiance in the winter. Make yourself at home in one of our two bedrooms. The Texas Room has a queen bed with a ceiling fan, and the Peacock Room has a full bed. Our newly added semi-private “lake room” has a love seat (pull-out full bed), a recliner, and the washer/dryer. We really enjoy the extra flex space. Our main living area has a queen pull out bed.

The kitchen, living, and dining are all open, with an island in the middle for preparing or serving food. At the dining table, fight for the best seats as you eat your meals or play games with friends or family. The view is incredible, especially early in the am where you can almost feel the tranquil calm. Microwave, drip coffee maker, and Keurig machine provided. Book now while it is still available and come enjoy our Peacock Pass! There is no dishwasher in this home.

Guests must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. NO Smoking, NO parties.NO pets. No trailers, campers or RV's allowed. No portable grills or open flames. Family friendly home with no tolerance for bad behavior. This house has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. This property includes accidental damage insurance up to $1500.To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera.

    My stay at this beautiful home was just amazing. The place is so clean, the owners, and managers took great pride in this home. You are literally on the lake. I stayed here for 6 months. Honestly did not want to leave . I will 10000% rent here again . If your look in for an amazing vacation spot on the lake this is it !!! NB Escape is an amazing management company. When I made a request I did not expect them to address it that day. But within hours they were their. I have stayed at several vacation homes. But this one is the best one ever. You will truly enjoy your stay here.

    Clean place! We went on a weekend that rained but the view of the rain was so relaxing. Took a stroll down the neighborhood and scored some good deals at the local shop “Dirt Cheap”.
