Our guest suite is the entire ground floor of our home. You will have your own private entrance and living space within the suite and it is all completely separate from the upstairs owner's space. We would share the parking area if we are home but will always do our best to give you privacy. There is also a 1948 Greyhound completely remodeled bus on premise that may or may not be rented during your stay.
We travel frequently so in most cases, no one will be on property during your stay. If we are home, there is a chance that you may hear muffled music, TV, footsteps, etc from the top floor as you would in an apartment, hotel etc. This will only be between the hours of 8 AM and 10 PM but if you are sensitive to this, our home may not be a good fit for you.
Relaxing Hill Country escape with wonderful valley & lake views. At Deep Inn-Texas, there are lots of things to discover all around us....lake life, river tubing, live music, arts and craft fairs, wineries, antiquing, bird watching & wildlife viewing. Public boat ramp on the lake nearby.
Our guest suite has been recently updated and has been decorated with a hill country vibe. Listen to the wind chimes, watch the deer, strum the guitar or break out an old vinyl record. This is an adults only getaway. Sleeps 4 guests. Guests must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. This guest house has a maximum occupancy of 4 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. You can park 2-3 vehicles at this property.
The living room area is not currently air-conditioned. We know what you're thinking-in Texas??? The room is built quasi-subterranean so believe it or not, it stays cooler than you might expect! Leaving the bedroom doors opened that do have a/c is usually enough to leave this area pleasant. There is an electric fireplace heater for cooler nights in the living area. There is also a room fan if desired.
We do not offer a fully stocked kitchen or the ability to cook full meals. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, instapot, a hot plate, and one fry pan and one sauce pan, and mini-fridge along with cutlery and plates. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage insurance up to $1500.
