The Wagon Wheel Cabin overlooks the Guadalupe River on approximately 2 acres, with many pecan trees that provide plenty of shade in the summertime. We have ample parking. There is 145 feet of riverfront, with a deck, and cement walkway for river access. Great fishing from the deck, launching your tubes for a great ride on the Guadalupe, or just relaxing as you watch the ducks and tubers go by. There are 3 houses on this property that share the river access. Right next door to the Wagon Wheel is the Texas Star a 3/2 that sleeps 14 and has river views. There is the Bluebonnet Cabin (does not have a river view) that sleeps 10. If you have a large party, please inquire about the other 2 houses.

This home has everything you will need to make it "your home away from home". Private covered patio with ample seating and an iron charcoal BBQ pit. Tubes and shuttle service 250 yds. up river. Firepit (bring your own wood) and corn hole onsite to use as well!

Home is fully furnished with a huge open kitchen/dining/living room which include many extra amenities A great place to gather and relax after a full day on the river!! The kitchen has everything! Fully equipped and then some including a Keurig 12 cup & K cup combo coffee maker. Owners have provided a child's highchair and Pac N Pay for convenience. Large dining room table seats 8 and there is a bench and 3 additional bar stools at the kitchen island/ breakfast bar. The living room has a sofa, a love seat with ottoman and a futon sleeps 2. This home has streaming TV and WiFi that was updated March of 2024 and is much stronger now! Cell Phone Service is very spotty in this area. No refunds/cancellations for outages.

The master bedroom at the end of the hall has a king bed, flat screen TV and private full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and a twin over full bunk bed (sleeps 5). The 3rd bedroom has a full bed and a twin over full bunk bed (sleeps 5). There is a guest bathroom centrally located to the kitchen as well as the guest bedrooms. Washer and dryer are available for your convenience.

NO PARTIES, NO SMOKING! Guests must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property for the duration of the stay. This home has a maximum occupancy of 14 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. You can park 5-6 vehicles at this property.

The house is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown New Braunfels, historic Gruene and Schlitterbahn water park. Shopping is just 20 minutes away at the outlet Malls of San Marcos. Nearby attractions in San Antonio include the Alamo, Fiesta Texas, and the famous San Antonio River Walk, just 30 minutes away. You are also a short 45 minute drive from the state capital of Austin, and all it has to offer. In New Braunfels, you will never run out of things to do!
This cabin is one of the 8 Moo Cow Cabins. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home may be monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.

    We had a blast! Had some spotty weather but that did not slow us down. Tied off to the deck and watched the floaters while having our food and beverages only a swim back to the dock. Floated one day on a short trip and as soon as we got back to the house we were back tied off the dock! Made good friends from the other two houses and ended up hanging out with them the entire trip. The houses are positioned perfect for privacy but not to far where you could walk over and be friendly. Plenty of beds to comfortably accommodate large family’s or friends. Will definitely come back to moo cow cabins!!!

    So much fun! The house has everything you need and more for multiple people staying. Probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed. We had 9 guests and had plenty of room for all of us to chill. So close to the tube rental.Convenient, clean, and quiet. The owners were on the property a couple days cleaning up but they were no problem. Very awesome people the both of them went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. I would stay here again 100%.

    Accommodations where perfect for a fishing trip with my buddy and our wives. The staff and owners where most accommodating, polite and very friendly. True Texas hospitality. It was all 5 star except for the wading access to the water until the owner told us of access from Cliff View. It would have been nice to have wade access from the property but now we know about the Cliff View access. The only other issue I found was that I had to wash some pots and pot lids before use. Other than that I was very pleased and will visit again.

    I will start by saying I have NEVER been to New Braunfels during the off season. I never had a reason to but October was the best time to go! The house was amazing and the yard down to the river was PERFECT! We planned to do a lot more but enjoyed staying at the house and watching our son run up and down the yard. Will definitely be planning another trip in the near future.

    The property is very nice, and has all the amenities of a hotel. Any thing you may need to prepare meals is available. Can't wait to rent again next year. But if you are a loud group, you have to shut it down after 10pm.

    This is the second Moo Cow Cabin I’ve stayed in. I will return again due to the location and cleanliness of the cabins. Wagon Wheel is right on the Guadalupe River and has a most beautiful view. Spent early mornings in the porch swing listening to a symphony of birds and evenings staring at a million stars in the sky. Totally relaxing. Homes show obvious pride of ownership. Very happy with Moo Cow Cabins.
