Delroy Curly Ray’s Comal Condo at Camp Warnecke Estates has 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths located on the banks of the beautiful Comal River; across the street from Schlitterbahn; an easy walk to the downtown shops, bars and restaurants. The perfect location for your family vacation. This lovely 2 bedroom, 2 ½ bath condo overlooks the crystal clear Comal River from its two balconies high up in the treetops. Enjoy Schlitterbahn located just across the street, float the Comal River and get out at your own backdoor steps or walk up to the Garden St. Bridge for a soothing 30 minutes of “Cruising down the River” – perfect for the little ones. Rockin' R is a local tube outfitter which can pick up in the parking lot next to Camp Warnecke between Memorial Day and Labor Day. For any reservation outside of that time period, the Rockin' R shop is located only .5 miles away. Enjoy the pool and hot tub or explore the beautiful Hill Country. So many things to do you’ll want to stay a week!

The kitchen which opens into the dining and living area is fully equipped. The dining table seats six and there is room for three at the bar, plus there is a table on the balcony that seats four. There is a full sized washer and dryer, should you need them. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa and a love seat, perfect for gathering together to play games or for watching cable TV. There is also a half bath on this level.
Upstairs is a large master bedroom with vaulted ceiling, balcony overlooking the river, and private master bath. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds (which could be pushed together to form a king size bed) and its own bathroom. A pack n play is also available. All linens are furnished.

There are 2 parking passes provided with one guaranteed numbered spot. The second parking pass is for general parking and is 'first come first served.' This condo is on the second floor and does not have an elevator. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. Guests will be provided with 6 wristbands (max amount allowed). This condo has a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.

**WRISTBANDS & PARKING PASSES REQUIRED*** This property has wristbands that need to be returned to our office location upon departure. These condos are individually owned and the owners graciously allow their "second homes" to be rented out and enjoyed! The HOA of the complex had laid out some policies to ensure everyone staying at the complex can have a wonderful time. Because of the fabulous location, we can have trouble with trespassers. The security guards on premise are there to ensure only renters are using the grounds and that guests are parking in the correct parking spaces. Please do not be offended by the wristband and parking pass policies, they are really there to ensure that you have a fabulous time!

  The pictures do not do justice to what it looks like in person. The view is beautiful and the interior was comfortable and clean. We didn’t encounter any issues while at this property. My family and I enjoyed the close proximity to Schlitterbahn, Comal River, and the restaurants. We had dinner at Alpine Haus Restaurant, which was amazing. FYI Reservations are recommended. We also enjoyed ice cream at Rheas Ice Cream. My daughters loved it so much, we went three times during our visit. We plan on visiting again and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting New Braunfels.

  We had to cancel our Disney trip due to Covid and decided to do a Staycation instead. We loved the condo. It was nice and clean. The view from both balconies is incredible. It did get a little loud with others staying next to and below our condo, but people calm down after quiet hours.
  
  We have season passes to Schlitterbahn and walked over to spend the day. We bought tubes and entered the river at Texas Tubes and got out right below our condo.

  Perfect for our family of six. Loved my quiet mornings on the patio drinking coffee and watching the hummingbirds. The only suggestion I have would be to add a chain lock on the front door. Our boys are 3 and 6. Small children are curious beings and I was extremely nervous about them "escaping"... down the stairs, in the parking lot, and near the river. It would be a simple, inexpensive fix to help ensure the safety of small children.

  We haven't stayed in New Braunfels proper for years so decided we'd give it a try.
  The condo was as described - right on the Comal and the view was lovely from either balcony. Deer, ducks, squirrels and various birds were a welcome surprise - the traffic and noise on the river during the day didn't seem to bother them at all.
  The condo was beautifully equipped, organized and so spotlessly clean I didn't even wash the dishes before I used them!
  This would be a lovely choice for someone wanting to enjoy all the activities in the area or simply people watching from the balcony.

  This is the second time we've stayed in Camp Warnecke and first time at this condo. It was quiet, close to the river and Schlitterbahn and was perfect for our family of 4. The condo was well organized and well stocked, and we'd definitely stay here again.

  This was the perfect rental for our girls trip with 6 ladies. Right on the river and perfect location close to everything. Very clean and nicely decorated. Two and a half baths was great! Nice size living area and loved the patios.

  This place was GREAT, my family and i had a blast. It was the perfect location. We all got Blast Passes for Shlitterbahn and during the wait for the ride we could walk across the street if we were hungry it was that close. Access to the river and nice pool the Property was very clean. Hope we can come back next summer, if so it will defiantly be in condo :)

  Nicely equipped with the exception of lack of chairs in the living room, bedrooms, and upper deck. Additional lighting is need do to the skylights being covered up, especially in the 2nd bedroom. A stand up reading lamp in the living room is needed.. This is not to be critical as the unit as this is one of the better units we have stayed in, in of 20 years in staying in various units at Camp W. and Comal. We think the suggestions advanced would enhance the guests stay, especially the longer term guests.

  The condo was upscale, well stocked, beautifully decorated, cozy, and felt like home! The beds and couches were comfy and the master bath was fantastic. Although we live in New Braunfels we needed temporary housing for a few months and Curly Rays was the perfect place to be. We weren't ready to leave when our time was up!
  
  As for the the management company, New Braunfels Escapes was prompt in responding when the water went off due to a break in the water main. They stayed in touch until we had water back on later in the day. That in addition to the fantastic communication during the reservation phase won a customer for life. I will make sure to recommend them and will surely use them again when I need to rent something in the area.
  
  All in all, this place is well worth the money and the location couldn't be more perfect! The river just makes everything less stressful.
